Going out on a limb it appears I have $10 of Eldo's money to play with following on from my expert hand analysis
in the previous Advanced Hand Contest. So, as promised, I am going to offer it to the APA member who answers this puzzler.
You have only 70 hands on the Btn player but he is ranking at 33/22/4.8. You have also just taken a buy in off of him when his turned flush met your rivered boat.

This is how the hand played out, but was it the best play?
Your task is to construct a full hand analysis of the play, with ranges, equity percentages etc
, and calculate the absolute optimal play at each stage of the hand. You will get no points for simply stating what you would have done, I want to see a fully reasoned explanation instead. And the winning solution may well be completely different from the play shown. Or it may not. That is for you to argue!
To help you out, here is a discussion on the hand
over at Two+Two, which proves they can;t decide on the right play either. And if you think that isn't confusing enough, Coach Byrd is ok with the play as it stands!
The winner will be judged according to the most well reasoned and accurate analysis and will be awarded Eldo's $10. End date is the end of the month.
