Beauty of the Week 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 15
I started a new thread, called "Beauty of the Day", where I am going to post my most beautiful HAND (sorry, if I disappointed anybody now) of the day; not necessary most beautifully played or strategically most interesting, just most curious or most beautiful set-up or most beautiful suck-out (where I sucked out of course; getting sucked out on is not beautiful at all )

Here is Nr.1:

No-Limit Hold'em, €2.00 BB (6 handed)

saw flop

BB (€200)
UTG (€777.84)
MP (€357.53)
CO (€230.08)
Button (€490.26)
Dr.Eldo (SB ) (€407.79)

Preflop:
3 folds, Button bets €5, Dr.Eldo raises to €15.10, 1 fold, Button calls €10.10

Flop: (€32.20) , , (2 players)
Dr.Eldo bets €18.47, Button calls €18.47

Turn: (€69.14) (2 players)
Dr.Eldo checks, Button checks

River: (€69.14) (2 players)
Dr.Eldo bets €73.75, Button raises to €198, Dr.Eldo raises to €374.22 (All-In), Button calls €176.22

Total pot: €817.58 | Rake: €3
Main pot: €817.58 between Button and Dr.Eldo, won by Dr.Eldo

I wonder what you pot size bet on the river. It's either a full house on the river or quads. Sweet 400BB pot.

i think you had 33 or TT

because this 2 hands in your 3-bet range..turn K you can C/R

because if he had K will bet turn and some times go allin..if he float flop..he will bluff turn..(I can see it often happens)

in river you read he had middle pair or slow play AK...so you over bet for value..if he just had middle pair will pay off this over bet..

To be called Beauty of the Day, I am thinking:

KK(Eldo) vs TT(BTN) for the most beautiful set up category:
Because of the deep stack, Eldo cbet should look standard (no cbet is actually more suspicious looking to BTN) and a pot building step. Turn check/check and the trap is set. Overbet river to represent a bluff and delightfully see a raise from BTN.

Same action could go for KT. KK is more likely because KK would 3bet close to 100% of the time and KT would only 3bet sometimes (when using a depolarized 3bet strategy in blind defense).

K4(Eldo) vs TT(BTN) for the most beautiful suck out category.
44(Eldo) vs AK(BTN) is another candidate. The river value raise all-in might be a bit light though, but Eldo could do it depends on history with BTN.

Thanks for sharing the beauty.

44 vs 33

Either that or else Eldo meant to post the actual hole cards but went out and got drunk instead.
